  • 2009 MMBA/MAAR Charity Golf Tournament

    On September 27 we held the annual MMBA/MAAR Charity Golf Tournament. The weather was great and we had a fantastic turnout of 25 teams of REALTORS & Affiliates supporting the event. We raised $6,000 and presented Penelope House & McKemie Place with $3,000 each.

  • “Things Are Really Moving Here” Campaign Kickoff

    On August 12, the Mobile Area Association of Realtors kicked off “Things Are Really Moving Here”, a campaign to raise awareness of the strength of the local real estate market. The press conference was a huge success! Our message is out with a three-month campaign in the Mobile area. We had ads running on several radio stations, ads in the Press-Register and Billboards throughout the city. Randy Delchamps & Ann Akridge were guests on WNTM’s “Ask the Expert” We launched a website called ThingsAreReallyMovingHere.com that has updated statistics and a Realtor Toolkit where Realtors can download ads, logos, flyers, etc. to promote the positive local strength.
